Eaton Towers has a highly experienced management team with a strong track record in Africa.




Mr. Terence Edward Rhodes, also known as Terry, is a Co-Founder (in 2009) and CEO of Eaton Towers.

Previously as a co-founder of Celtel International B.V. (1998) Terry led the mobile telephony roll-out across 16 countries in Africa and was on the board of many of the operating subsidiaries including Uganda, Burkina Faso, Kenya, Niger, Egypt, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Sierra Leone, Gabon and Democratic Republic of the Congo. Celtel was sold in 2005 to Zain for $3.4bilion.

Prior to Celtel he worked with Mobile Systems International, Cable & Wireless Communications, British Telecom and Cellnet, now O2. Mr. Rhodes is also an occasional lecturer at London Business School, where he was an Entrepreneur in Residence in 2007. He started his career as an Economist at UK Government departments including HM Treasury. He is an active investor and adviser to start-up companies, and has acted as a director for a number of small companies in technology, services, and property sectors. He serves as a Non-Executive Director of the LSE listed VCT company, Puma VCT 9 plc (PUM9) since 2012.

Terry holds an M.Sc. in Economics from London School of Economics, an M.B.A. (Distinction) from London Business School and is a graduate of their Investment Management Programme.





Peter Lewis is the Group CFO of Eaton Towers with over 25 years’ in global telecoms finance and over 20 years of African experience.

Peter joined Eaton Towers in 2011 from Millicom, where he was the Treasurer and Head of Corporate Finance, from 1999-2010, responsible for all group debt (raised over $1bn in debt finance for Africa) and M&A.

One of the last strategic sales he headed at Millicom was the sale of its towers in Ghana, which was the first sale of a tower portfolio by an operator in Africa.

Prior to Millicom, Peter spent 10 years as an Investment Banker with ABN AMRO in London, Amsterdam and Singapore.

Peter is an Associate of the UK Chartered Institute of Bankers and has an MBA/MBI from Erasmus, Rotterdam School of Management.





Pankaj Kulshrestha has nearly 30 years of experience in telecoms out of which the last 11 years have been in tower sector.

Mr Kulshrestha joined the company in January 2014 as Chief Operating Officer. He has extensive operational experience in the Indian telecom market.

Prior to joining Eaton Towers, Mr Kulshrestha spent a significant part of his career (September 2008 – December 2013) in American Tower Corporation where he was the VP Operations and Regional Head North & West in India, and part of the company’s core group for M&A activities, leading both operational due diligence and post-acquisition integration activities.

He holds a B.Tech. in Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru University and an MDBA (Marketing).
